As I said in the other thread, no chance we win tonight unless Hamilton and NJD’s top line, and Hughes, all get injured in a bus accident on the way to the game…not even planning to watch this as the Pens will just embarrass themselves again trying to keep up with the Devils

I ran out of my optimism, we just can't play young fast teams...this one will be in lost column

New Jersey's goaltending is as bad as ours, so hopefully they can score 4+ today.

I'd really like the new throwbacks if the shoulder yellow wasn't so damn blocky and thick. A thinner triangle and I think they'd look great.

uh, it’s not great but Vanacek has been better than any of our goalies…

Jarry is starting tonight…

Our goaltending has been subpar for sure. But the Pens are notoriously awful towards their goalies in terms of stats. Put Ulmark here and he ain't near the Vezina lol.

Last time we visited the Devils barn we played one of our best games but somehow failed to win. I wouldn't mind if this time we play like shit and win somehow.
That’s the thing with the Devils…we can play great but end up losing all the time…just like Carolina and Boston lol…just bad matchup for us

First game loss against NJ , Vanecek .926 save %, Jarry .889 %
second game loss against NJ, Vanecek .962 save % and Jarry .920 %
third game loss against NJ, Vanecek .935 save %, we played Tokarski who had a .904 save %….

basically, no matter how bad Vanecek is against the rest of the league he outplays our goaltending and we make him look like a Vezina candidate…lol…one of our most glaring issues against NJD…and that’s with us ending up with the same # of shots approximately as NJ

Pens have a shot here. I agree if NJ brings their A game hard to see Pens winning. But you never know at this point of the season who has the juice remaining. Pens 3 games in 4 nights is really hard to over come.
