such a good but weird movie. The tub scene is the best. I would pay to watch Benecio Del Toro read the phonebook for 2 hours. He's incredible.

He works hard and is strong as hell but dude is not even a little bit fast. I think that's why he'd never work on his off wing. He can't afford to lose that extra half step it would take to get his stick to the wall on the wrong side.

To me the issue isn't getting to pucks, it's that he seems incapable of actually carrying the puck for more than a second once he gets it. And I say that as a huge fan of his game in general.
