Since most of you dont want to help make GDTs, I shall overload them with RoboPen until you volunteer, or someone buys me the jersey. Maybe both. :sarcasm:

I'll take the optimist's road right now. 9-1-2 using this top 6.
Jarry 5 straight games of .919+. Maybe some goals against were ugly but he's compensating for it.
Everyone was super critical of Letang's play, so I don't wanna hear that missing him hurts us right now.

December looks a lot friendlier. 2 back to backs, the first of which we play an equally tired team.
9 of 13 at home.

Think this will be a good month.

Thought about going to the game. Looked at ticket prices, looked at the commute time. Decided to watch from home.

Probably has more to do with the empty seats than the teams mediocrity.

My bold prediction is that Rust is going to score. I thought L2 generated some chances last game, Rust had 6 shots, Malkin 5, and Zucker 4, and there were a few spurts of Rust actually trying. This team is somehow winning a lot of games, but if L2 could get going, they'd be tough to beat.

Blues are not the same as a cup winner but they are still a tough matchup for the Pens. Also many thanks for the GDT as it makes the thread interesting. To those who have the skill and give of their time to do this it is appreciated.

I think the Power Play will score, just because the Blues' PK is so bad this season. It's the third-worst PK in the league. Only the Ducks and Canucks have worse PKs.
Of course, I say that and now I've jinxed the team to allow 3 shorthanded goals.
On the other hand, the Blues PP will likely dismantle the Pens PK, too

That outdoor winter kit looks like someone ate oreo cookies with mustard -- threw it up.... then a dog came and ate up the vomit and puked the vomit back up again...

These teams are definition of mediocrity….500 records, very similar…the Blues score a little bit more but give up a few more goals…Jarry vs Binnington — who can f**k up least lol…would be nice to finally get a real 5 on 4 PP goal and not give up a million rush chances during and immediately after the PP lol, but maybe I’m asking too much…

1,550 Seats remaining through TM.
The lowest occupancy being being directly behind the penguins attacking goal - lower level - with 67 (seats available) and I think 66 on the far side corner of defending goal.

That is a lot of empty seats.

I think the last two home games have been the lowest attendance in years. I suspect today's game will be slightly higher just because it's a Saturday.

Prices don't look much different... I still see plenty of 50 dollar tickets.

Imagine if I didn't keep up the "good fight", everyone would be armless legless little trolls.

Sorry Hockey Gods, they don't know any better, their parents didn't teach them the truth. They hail sidekick false Gods... Please stop injuring our players...... Much/most appreciated...

I know they don't deserve it, but just one more cup with your best-est logo would be grand.

Things were much brighter and more fun on the up side of the sid geno and company rise to glory than the downhill fade to retirement and mediocrity the team is now facing.
Can't blame anyone for being bored with that....
I won't pay much attention til a new hot shot comes along or they manage to be exciting again (post sid and others)..
