I agree but I also think we could have spent slightly more and took a chance on someone to at least better the team. If a youngster works out.....great. I also think there were some guys there is FA that could have been around the same price and given us a better team.

We pretty much know what E-Rod brings

Roddy rod was a solid bottom 6 player. He's like TK but good in a lesser role capacity. I like him as a 4c option. The issue was mostly the defense and the 3rd line. I think Blueger is the 3c we've always wanted and I wish people would stop wingeing about with it.

Blue is too good for most of you wankers.

I'm slightly annoyed by the signing only because I think he's going to be misused by the coaching staff, but at 700k, I'd rather have Roddy than, I dunno, Marleau or Sheary or some other such washed up vet or undersized plugger du jour.

I don't know how Sheary values himself but for the price I much rather have Sheary. He is a solid depth scorer.
