Finally a concrete timetable for Bennett. Would give him 10plus games before the playoffs start.

14-15 games. I don't know if that's going to be enough to answer the questions on him but at least he'll be on the ice.

It's ****ing stupid RRP. It's misusing yet another trade acquisition. DB sees Vitale as the weak link on that line. That 4th line is going to be used as a shutdown unit. And it'll bite us eventually.

I'm trying to be positive, but if we brought Goc in as a 4C, we would have been better off using those assets+B prospect to get pick up Hemsky.

There's not many ways he could misuse Bennett. He'll almost certainly be on either the 1st or 3rd RW, and even if he's not, he's versatile enough to play either side anywhere in the line-up.

Ottawa's picks are pretty much guaranteed to be higher than the Penguins', so that doesn't work.

A fully healthy Bennett would be better used there. We'll see if a Bennett who's missed 40 games with a wrist injury and multiple setbacks can step in and be at that level.

As it stands, Stempniak's looked pretty good there.
