Meh, gives me a little too much of a gimmicky stadium series feeling. The sleeves in the original jersey from the post above are much more interesting.

The more gold the better, as far as I'm concerned...big ups to actually fixing the Stadium Series jersey before making it an alternate, too...the freakish numbers and cartoonishly large shoulder patches kept me away from buying them as Stadium Series jerseys.

I've been wanting the Pens to revisit gold alternates ever since I was a little kid and saw pictures of the early 80s versions.

The arms being all black looks weird to me. Makes it looks like a cut off sleeves jersey or something haha. Solid colours though

Yuck. Would have been okay if there was a bottom stripe. Looking at a full picture of the jersey it looks like an ugly t-shirt.

edit: Wearing them on the ice with full equipment they will probably look sharp, but seeing a fan walking around in them I think they look terrible, if that makes any sense.

Not always apparent, but I think all jerseys have that on their shoulders now.

Looks like instead of wearing shoulder pads they've all got a roll of Bounty on each shoulder for protection.

Hmm... throw some rolls of toilet paper around their knees and elbows and I may have just solved 80% of concussion issues.

I ordered my girlfriend a knockoff jersey and when hers came with the textured dotting on the shoulders I thought that they made a mistake. I actually had to verify their jerseys when the team was on TV to see that they had these.
