How has he looked this year?

Very significant step in his development this season.
Very comfortable at the A level and very trusted by the coaches.
Sound defensively and no slouch offensively.
Not shy of contact. Good battle level. Goes to dirty areas.

Sunny and him are really close in terms of who's the better C at the A level right now.
Sunny gets the edge cuz he's just bigger/has the better stride when he's healthy.

I think for Bleuger to take the next step to the NHL, he'll need to get a tad more explosive/faster. Could be a Kruger or Dominic Moore type. ETA: Absolute best case he turns into what Cullen is right now

Quick Latvian lesson:
From what I've been told, Teddy's ancestry isn't ethnically Latvian as it is, so he's probably not too concerned about changing it, as historically, it probably didn't have an "s" to begin with.

Come on man, I don't know what you have been told, but Teddys father Valentīns is a founder one of the top law offices in country and in english the office name is "Blueger & Plaude" while Latvian it's "Bļugers & Plaude". It seems that's the way they roll.

Despite the injury at the start of the season, everything looks fine about Teddy in this season, that's really sweet.
