Interestingly enough, I saw a post on Facebook today saying that American's didn't know how to clean their butts. Apparently, we have one of two options: 1. Paper wipe followed by a wet wipe. 2. A bidet. Otherwise were walking around unclean.
The wet wipes are a problem for sewage treatment plants because they aren't designed to break apart when they come in contact with water. Regular toilet paper basically disintegrates pretty quickly so it can be handled very easily. The wet wipes don't, so they clog stuff up.
Wasn't there a study published recently that said it's better for the environment for people to pee while they are in the shower because it uses much less water?
