Neither resulted in a major injury.
One could have led to a broken nose or cheek bone.
The other could have caused paralysis or worse.

Buch gets 1 game and the POS 5 time offender gets nothing. Simply astounding and speaks volumes of the NHL incompetence. I just wish the cross check was to POS Wilson's face. Maybe next year.

They even acknowledge that Mantha instigated the confrontation and that Buchnevich was unwillingly put in the position of defending himself. I guess the NHL's position is that he should have just let himself get crosschecked in the neck.
