No, that was because they traded for Joe Thornton.

Also, lets be real. The only reason he was signed last year was because of his longtime ties to the Sharks. Had he been a player who didn't have any strong ties to a team, he would've been sitting at home. Also the P record is basically the answer to a trivia question.


Again... Thornton was acquired in 05-06. They make 01-02 2nd round and 03-04 WCF where they just fall to the Flames. Gosh... Thornton only came to strengthen their claim. Not the one who started it. If Marleau doesn't burst up earlier, of course SJ will not be able to trade for Thornton.

Brendan Morrow was a Gold medalist. Stop thinking he is some scrubs.

I was looking at his stats and noticed he had 72 playoff goals, tied for 14th in nhl history. Pretty impressive. I think he easily makes hall of fame; he's got the stats, most games played ever, 500 goals, olympic gold. It's a shame he's missing a cup win for the perfect career.
