There's not many "all-star" American forwards to be fair. Here's the only American players in NHL history with better seasons than Kane.

#1: Lafontaine '93 148pts
#2: Brett Hull '91 131pts
#3: Kevin Stevens '92 123pts
#4: Brett Hull '90 113pts
#5: Kevin Stevens '93 111pts
#6: Joe Mullen '89 110pts
#7: Brett Hull '92 109pts
#8: Roenick '93 107pts
#9: Roenick '94 107pts
#10: Jimmy Carson '88 107pts
#11: Patrick Kane '16 106pts

Only Gretzky(10), Lemieux(6) and Jagr(5) won the Art Ross from 1981-2001 which were the best chances at an American Art Ross.

Cool list... all 22+ years ago... must be a coincidence.

He's an unbelievable hockey player. The stick handling, the vision, the agility on his skates and the accuracy of his shot.

Congrats to #88. A year ago after winning the Cup, he went through hell, and look how he bounced back. I really hope he stays away from anything that could put him in trouble from now on.

Even with his struggles and having entire Blues shut him down as Toews line has been MIA he still has 4 assists and is leading Hawks in scoring in this playoff

And him struggling vs suffocating Blues D with rest of Hawks somehow negates his season?

Kane is a poor man's Markus Naslund

Not the only one the matters :naughty:

What a scintillatingly hot take. You should apply for a job at ESPN.

Also remind me when did Markus Naslund win the Art Ross trophy by 17 points?

Naslund And Kane are both smaller, softer, one dimensional players. They don't bring much else to the game besides a wrist shot. They are both invisible if they aren't scoring.

PKanes Art Ross will go down as one of the weakest Art Ross winners of all time. It should almost be jointly awarded to Panarin as well lol

 Jamie Benn having to roll the Predators' AHL team in game 82 just to hit 87 points last season would like to have a word with you.

You are salty as ****.

Yeah, he only scored 46. :shakehead 106 points is pretty bad considering the whopping 2.71 Goals for average this season. :help:

This comment is so ironic considering Jamie Benn got the art ross last year with an unbelievable 87 points:)biglaugh:), and the scoring last year on average was still higher than this year.(2.73 Goals For Average, if you're wondering).
