Taking him 10th OV you'd think there was some kid of communication between Bellville and his agent though.

Doesn't affect his AHL eligibility at all, guys drafted out of any of the three CHL league can't play in the AHL until the season they turn 20 by December 31st (or if they've played four full CHL seasons, extremely rare case where a guy has played four seasons before 20 because they have to play their first at 15 like Spezza or Tavares). Everybody else can play in the AHL at any time. Since Pastrnak was drafted out of Sweden he could play a year of the OHL then go the AHL at 19, go right to the AHL at 18, go back to Sweden, his options are unlimited. The AHL/CHL thing only affects guys who plays in the CHL prior to being drafted.
