Paradox of progress: The evolution of NHL hockey towards boredom

I remember last season, the hype over a Kings vs Blackhawks or Rangers vs Canadiens game - when I had the time, I never bothered watching. Even the best teams are not very entertaining most nights. In the past two playoff seasons, I have watched a total of 3 games.

While I largely agree with much of what you have to say on this subject, you missed out if you didn't see that LA/Chicago series last year.

Yeah, we've been down this road before. He admits to not watching and claims he doesn't like the product...he might not be wrong about certain things even, but it's too sensationalist and dramatic to really kick this dog around again, with all due respect...
