Don't get me wrong, I recognize that. I just think that, if he does sign, expectations should be tempered.Depth plays a huge role in post-season success.

It should be 1 year given his age. Zatsiev from Toronto only had to do a 1 year deal. Think the cutoff age between 2 vs 1 year is like 24/25.
Panarin was 23, turning 24 in Q4 of 2015 when he signed with Chicago and had to do 2 years on his elc.
Leafs should take a flyer on him, need C depth in their system. He’d have a pretty good shot at making the team with 2C spots open, and a good shot at making the playoffs his first season in the NHL.
Seems good for both parties.
Definitely an option, it’s nice to have the depth though.Putting Nylander as 2C might do the trick.
He was close to playing this season on the team, but his massive knee injury ended that tenure for good as it was re-injured.Why would any SHL UFA even consider signing with the team after how they treated Rodin THREE TIMES?

I feel like Jason Bourne is not the name you wanted here.Radio in vancouver (Jason Bourne) saying that he would top out as a 3/4C... So not a high ceiling
He was never seriously considered for the big club, don't kid yourself
Ahhhh... I can't remember his name.. Bob Bourne's kidI feel like Jason Bourne is not the name you wanted here.
This guy knows.Leafs should take a flyer on him, need C depth in their system. He’d have a pretty good shot at making the team with 2C spots open, and a good shot at making the playoffs his first season in the NHL.

Well, the Leafs need both 3 an 4C, so that's fine with me.4C at best
