I don’t see how we do it, plus Forsling is a must keep whether we get Hanifin or not imo, but so is Reino.

Wk is as good as gone either way imho.

Seems a bit of a lateral move long term if they re-signed him and let Forsling or Montour walk (while losing the pieces to acquire him), but I guess it could make sense in terms of loading up for this year. Would essentially be a “rental” for whomever they lose

Doesnt make much sense, our D is pretty good enough to not waste what tiny draft capital we have., especially for a dude we may not even keep next year (Like Giroux). We really need another top 9 scorer.

Florida does not have the assets, 2026 1st round pick would be the center piece, I don't think they trade Lundell.

Florida has just 2 NHL defenseman signed, I think Hanifin would sign a long term contract in Florida.
