It's the Bruins. Need a fight deterrent. Need a physical presence. Need an Enforcer. He has played well against the Bruins. Need someone to protect the guys from getting run at. Need Thornton.


I want everyone's take on this.

Are the Panthers so desperate to not give up a point in this game that we pull the goalie if the game is tied with under a minute or so left or not just yet?

Well, 4 I guess, cause it's time to factor in that damned ROW.

Still don't like that teams get "punished" for winning in the shootout when it is part of the game.

First tie-breaker should ALWAYS be head-to-head first.

Why implement something to eliminate ties that essentially punishes teams for getting there?

Why?

Because there's a good chance we come out flat and the B's score quickly and early. Thornton is vocal and can get the group PO'd so the tempo gets amped up to where it needs to be.. Thornton fights usually have that affect as well.

Realistically yea. If we get a point we are literally hanging on by a thread and still be alive.

Boston only has one "easy" game left and that is against Toronto.

Detroit, Toronto, Washington, (2nd of a back-to-back) Florida, and Tampa.

If they miraculously finish 1-4 there......then.....

But tonight is the night really.

Panthers take it, I'd be willing to say we become favorites to take the 8th.

But we wont, season ends tonight. Its over. prepare yourself for an epic board explosion. Account suicides left and right. It's done.....Can I put all vCash in on Boston?

The one thing that scares me about Kopecky is that he is one of Tallon's boys from Chicago. He is a UFA at seasons end, and I hope Tallon has realized its time to go in a different direction.
