Kane is phenomenal. It's been a tough year and he obviously misses Panarin a lot. Strangely enough, I think Panarin was his best bud off the ice (language barrier and all). But Kane's stats are still impressive and I have no doubt he'll be back in Art Ross contention next year. Panarin with 77 points this year so far. Crazy. Forget the trade. What were the scouts looking at when he went undrafted?

Good question. Someone should have taken a chance on him. I recall watching the Canada-Russia WJC 2011 final and thinking that a lot of those Russians would be successful in the NHL. And it turned out that Kuznetsov, Tarasenko, Panarin (who scored two goals in that crazy comeback), Orlov, and Zaitsev are doing quite well today in the best hockey league in the world.
