Obviously well deserved, but I think Heiskanen is the best of the young dmen bunch right now. His overall game is just ridiculous. For me, it's going to be Dahlin/Heiskanen and then Hughes/Makar with all four being top 10 dmen soon.

Pretty sure thats because of regular season. Heiskanen is just absolute fire in the playoffs and it's been getting better every games since the covid playoffs

Right now, they have $6M in cap space. Moving a Nylander would open up close to another $7M, giving them about $13M in cap space. So they would be able to afford Pietrangelo with that much space. Of course, they would need to keep an eye on Reilly's deal that will be up in two years.

But they're in a better cap situation than they have been in recent years.
