Is that largely Score Effects?
They had a 4 on 3 in the 2nd where they had an expected 4 goals or something. It definitely skewed things in their favor big time.

That's why analytics cannot be trusted wholeheartedly. Too many weird things like this that can throw the numbers into the wind.

I actually don't think the Leafs got dusted that badly. They got pummeled in the first fifteen minutes of the game and then their goaltending gave out. The problem is, their goaltending is going to keep giving out.

Fine first period, imploded in the 2nd, and 1-1 in the third when Boston stopped caring. They are in trouble unless the flip switches quickly.
