Hmmmm........Caps win a game and you hope that when you look at the standings it's going to look better. Instead the Caps are STILL 3rd from the bottom.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out but the Caps need a winning streak and not of the 3 game variety. Carolina was undermanned last night and won that battle. There is still a war to win though.

Bergevin trading Cole has to be a big feather in his cap. He got rid of a player who has made rumblings about retiring. Was probably sorry to see the lockout end. With the cap going down that's a nice contract to unload. And Bergy got a pick too. LOL
