Clarkson wasn't brought in for his offensive prowness, he was brought in because he's emotionally mature (something this team badly lacks ), he geniunely wants to be here (he turned down other offers ) and he's a beast along the walls not to mention will stick up for his mates, any offense he provides is an added bonus.

Like jumping off the bench in a mean nothing game? Clarkson was brought in to bring fire to our top 6. Nonnis even said "He doesn't need to score 30..."

The impact of Clarkson will not be realized for 10 games as he plays catch up.

We are fast approaching that 20 game mark that the naysayers were talking about after 2 or 3 games into the season. No, wait, it was 10 games. No wait, it was Christmas. No wait, it was February. No wait, it was when we played games against the western teams. No, wait, it was against top eastern teams. Point being - maybe we will meet all of those deadlines and still be rolling along.
