Imagine being Pierre Dorion's lackey. Not even Burke's lackey, or Shero's lackey, or even a lackey for a guy like Jim Nill, but being Pierre Dorion's lackey. Wow
Everybody in the world is busy trying to keep up. To describe an off season all Sens fans went into with excitement and the promise of the team staying together and now we get hit with the Melnyck cold water - to describe that as busy is the only word Bruce can use because it’s a word that relates to everyone in the world. If you read between the lines what Bruce is saying is
“Dorion is like you, he’s trying to do his best at his job and it would be a hell of a lot easier if his boss would just pay for the promises he’s made but Dorion has to spend 90% of his time trying to figure out how the hell to keep the promises his boss made to his customers and everything else that entails together when he knows damn well he can’t afford it.”
