It's crazy looking at the line up and seeing only really Alfie and Neil are the only forwards from basically 3 years ago who were actually NHLers here.

Regin sits again? I would've thought playing on a line with Kassian might've made him a bit more competitive.

Oh well... I doubt Regin lasts beyond the trade deadline anyway

Because I'd have to learn that too, so it doesn't really change anything.
Well I suppose Gimp would be less buggy than an old photoshop, plus Gimp is like learning how to drive manual, and photoshop automatic.

I think today we'll control the tempo better and out-shoot our opponents. We're missing only Spezza & Michalek now so and our defense has been good, so there should be no excuse.

NyQuil, mmm I don't know. As a whole, I think they've been doing quite well over the past 12 games. Especially when you consider that the team has to make do without Spezza or Karlsson.
I agree with Cujomi that they weren't terrible but IMO they were clearly the worse team on the ice. I think they should feel quite content that it went as far as a shootout.
It was the first time I've seen Subban in the NHL, was quite impressed by him.

Fitch89, NHL coverage (not Sens coverage) here is....1 game per week that's it :shakehead .

Unless you get Viasat Hockey of course. I would assume they choose to cover many Sens games.

Time to head out and stock up on some snacks for the game.

Go sens Go!!

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me the legal copy alongside CS2 indicates you have to be a licensed user to download the files and use them.

Anyway, GIMP's a good program, and, yes, no injuries for tomorrow! I get to watch tomorrow's game on TV (Jets country=TSNJets) so I can hardly wait!

Happy Ben gets another chance today.

Because I'd have to learn that too, so it doesn't really change anything.

I've spent the past couple months learning GIMP and have to use Photoshop for my courses. The differences are negligable thus far. GIMP is a lot of fun for free.

I think the Sens should be INCREDIBLY proud that they have taken some of the top teams to the bitter end. Honestly, I still go into EVERY game thinking --- this is the game they flop. This is the game they get blown out. Because I cannot see another team in the NHL deal with injuries like the Sens have and NOT fall in the standings. You take out your top three offensive guys, plus your #1 goalie and then 2 other support people... and still keep on trucking.

The Sens are keeping afloat, and just barely. But they have this mentality that they can do it, and that they will fight to the end. Yes they've looked worse than other teams, but why is that a shock!? There are things to work on, but feel this season is just great experience for all the new and young players on the team.

Today is a must win game though. Its a team below the Sens in the standings and we NEED two points to keep above water at this point. So GO SENS GO!!!

*I absolutely love the fight and heart this team continues to have, may not be AS exciting as last year but it is exciting in a different way*

#Sens coach MacLean confirms that @kassassination will make his debut while Regin draws in for Daugavins this afternoon in Buffalo.

I'm happy that Regin's playing - I have a soft spot for the great Dane. Hopefully being a healthy scratch for the past two games puts a fire in his belly. We could really use him to regain his scoring touch.

Regin at this point is a defensive specialist. Being injured for the past 2 seasons has sucked the life out of him offensively. Its a shame considering how good he looked in 09-10.

Why? Because he's new to the team and the coach wants to see what he brings. Apparently Kassian is not dumb and can play a smart defensive game. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think he'll also bring a lot of energy to the team - despite seeing sheltered 4th line minutes. I also think he'll fight his very first shift.

Has PM made any statements to the media this morning? There's nothing on the official Sens website...

If Kassian can play very physical and sound defensively he's worth having in the line-up every night over a guy like Daugavins IMO.

Yup, they cover a whole bunch of Sens games.

And I think it's a pretty good package if you're living in Sweden and loves Hockey.
Today it started out with; SEL Qualification-Hockey - Game 2 on now.
And NYR-Pit is also on. Later; 5 more games this evening/night all on 3-channels. Almost all, with the original commentators. (TV-10 not)

And they have of course focus on games that are of the most interest for Swedes and that include lots of Ottawa matches.

I myself have grown a respect and liking for the club, not just because it's filled with countrymen, but as a club in a whole.
(I have been a B's fan since the 90's, but Ottawa is starting to grow on me more and more)
And the more air-time a club get, the more new followers.

I'm anxious to see Kassian in action. I expect nothing from him offensively but if he can be responsible defensively and provide a sense of security to his linemates I'll be happy. There've been a few games this year where we could have used someone like him.

Daugavins has been a rock on the PK all season. I hate taking him out for an AHL goon.
