This team died with the whole Yermin Mercedes situation. Prove me wrong.

TRL will go down as one of the worst hires in the history of the MLB. That one hire has completely destroyed everything this team built going into their "window". This team has no energy, no life, no excitement. They are f***ing soulless. That's a direct reflection on the useless, senile, drunken mother f***er who falls asleep in their dugout.

The entire organization, from KW, Hahn, on down, needs to be gutted. The entire coaching staff. The entire training staff. Hire all new people, and start over with the players you have, and hope they can all rebound. Because otherwise, you're throwing away another f***ing decade.

Even the players are a problem though. The starting SS plays subpar defense, and that right there is always gonna make things hard on the entire IF defensively. SS might be the most important position and ours isn’t that good(in the field).

There are FAR too many DHs.

Nobody can run. Everyone is slow.

Not enough lefty pop.

The bullpen and rotation both also need upgrades.

This roster is flawed, and IMO if they’re going to replace the GM, manager, etc(all of which is essential at this point)…they might as well redo the roster and start from scratch. Keep Cease and Robert. Maybe Vaughn and Kopech too. Other than that there isn’t much to really get excited about. Just a whole lot of meh that all needs upgrading.

Trash team

Yup. Garbage organization. Low standards. Cheap. Inept. Boring product on the field. I can’t stand this current Sox team. Sick to my stomach just thinking about how embarrassing we are.

Funny you say that. I've been telling my friends for the last month and a half that the problem with this team is it has no soul. It's not something I ever expected to describe a professional sports team with, but it fits them to a tee.

They had a soul until TLR, the fun police, took over.

So...IF theybhadca soul before TLR and La Loozzzzzer ruined it.. arecyiuvrealjycsYingbitvisxa problem thatc"the Cubans" do notcseem to want to hustle and be energized bitbinsteadvplay lije dead zombies for him?

Or is LaLooozzzzzzer just a victim of the insane battkngvtheoriescofvpur illustrious hitting coach ,himselfvonlyca .249 hitter inMLB in his own batting career?

Turning HR hitters into singles hitters has resulted in way too many ground balls, double plays, pop ups to the infield AND fly balls that die 5 feet from the fence in the outfield....

So who is mostly to blame?

.players themselves?
.TLR ?
.the agaibst conventional wisdom hitting coach tryingv to fit square pegs into round holesby converting sluggers into meek singles hitters?/

The fix:
1.Fire TLR
2.Fire Menechino
3. Promote Oscar Colas from Birmingham and install in RF...
4.Bench Pollock
5 .Bench Moncada
6 Plantoon Vaughan and Sheets at 1B depending on whether opposing starter is RHP or LHP.
7 Abreu to DH.
8.Oromote Bryan Ramos and install at 3B.

Unfortunately we have no replacement options for Zevala and Grandal as catchers ...so just hope they improve.

9.Hire Jim Thone from from his cushy commentator role on MLB Tonight to be Sox hitting coach...let tge HR reign.

10.Hire A.J. P. to be the manager...catchers always make tge best managers

11 Find a new owner who will invest more on the farm like tge Dodgers do...Need 2 teams in each of ACL and DDL as many other orgs do it...more expensive butctgexreward is a ready supply ofv youth to tradexawauvat trade deadline if you have stacked farm systems with so many prospects...

Exactly I agree.

Ddfghurdkllliytfgjirhcswyikbft, and then fire TLR.

2 runners on and no outs

- Moncada flies out despite having 3-0 count
- Harrison with awful at bat striking out at junk in dirt
- Sosa strikes out on slider

Typical Sox

Moncada is just pure trash at this point

Needs to be first out door this offseason

Sosa boots routine grounder but ball goes right o Harrison and Cabrera not bothering to run until Sosa flubbed ball ends game

If Cabrera puts in even a moderate jog there out of box, he is easily safe

Sox win 2-0

First time they've won game 1 of a series in months? Lol

This win does absolutely nothing for me. This team is still lifeless.

The White Sox have such a low bar set for their standards. If this was a competent organization that was serious about winning a championship they would have fired the manager and the hitting coach weeks ago.

Biggest issues with Sox are lack of power and lack of clutch hitting (way too many RISP left on base)...

Jose Abreu has not driven in a run in 9 straight games now!

The so callled heart of the batting order =3,4,5 hitters failing miserably.Thenyou get Moncada who has failed all season..

Just horrid .

The fact is Mt.Clutch (Abreu ) is way off on his normal 100RBI + season.. andvif you no longer can count on him to produce with RIDP it speaks doom for the offense

The question now being g discussed on Sox blogs is whether to even re-sign him... Age may have caught up with him already and maybe they ought to let him walk and use tge money to address other needs as they have Vaughan and Sheets to man1B..but desperately need upgrades in the outfield and a 3B with power who drives in rubs.

The issue of Robert constantly getting hurt and out of the lineup is concerning.....he isquickly beco ing Mr.Brittle. and it gets annoying.. Give him 1 more season to see if he can be relied on to be in the lineup or not...if not trade him for somebody who can be a stable presence.

It could be Sox just had a bad luck year with all the games missed by key personnel ...but it Cannot continue going forward.

Sox lkayers do not seem to be in shape as too many injuries seem to plague them from routine pkays ..eg.Eloy hobbles after simply running down the ine to to first base and instead of running through the bag he tries to jumpnhop the last step abd land awkwardly on his foit and then hobbies and is taken off with a replacement runner.

Or Robert cannot execute a correctvskudevinto 2B gets foit blocked and knocked away from tge bag.. .. if hexskid cleats first noway tge 2B tries blocking the bag with his foitcand legit he gets spiked...So Robert gets a hard hit to his leg plus seens dazed from the hit..He just seems so brittle that he cannot survive anything touching him hard bevit man, fence or ground..He just seems way too soft for me.Somebody needsxto toughen hom up if he wants to bexa leader and show fire instead of just finesse.. He needsxto toughen up and shrugging any hard contact...plays like a soft wuss and prima Donna....Mr.Brittle.

Six "stats" need to go to a tough boot camp..getvin shape..and tKe tge hard knocks tgatvinevitably conr with baseball...Otger teams have stars playing regularly who do notvgetcsuch typesvofvinjuriescon routine exoected plays.

The entire culture of the Sox letgongtgse prima Donna's play soft lije this and be taken out injured so often is disgusting...annoying abd frankly getting tiresome.
Send them to boot camp to toughennup and get in better shape to survive 162 games or else replace them with guys who can stY in the lineup.

Maybe guys woukd stY healthy ifctgey were winning and had more fun.. butcsonehowxtge dark cloud of TLR overhangs this softness culture oermeatibgvtgecteam.

It just is all wrong.

Do not go there with the injury excuses and thinking them being healthier will fix this debacle. You're playing in to Rick Hahn's hands with this. I would actually counter that the healthier this lineup is, often the worse they are. Because let's be honest, to this point, just about all of the rebuild position players are disappointments to varying degrees.

Nobody's taking his contract so let's hope he figures it out next year so they can dump the final year.

Abreu geys lauded for hosting fine baserunning last night...but facts remain:

Zero HR over last 10GP...and only 1 RBI (last night when he was no RBIs in priorv9GP)...this iscoff the cliff bad from the usual key to the "meat" of the batgibgborder as he gets 3rd or4th batting in the lineup..

Is this just a "clutch slumpp" lasting only a short chunk of games...or symptomatic of a real decline and fall off i power and in clutch driving in runs?

If he latter is tge case then serious question on re-signing him or letting him walk and using the money to acquire something else?
