I don't think I've seen a more psychologically deflating goal than what the Panthers just gave up. How do you recover from that.
This Florida team, in theory, has more top-end talent, more depth, and better coaching than those pre-2016 Sharks teams ever had...Watching Florida in the playoffs is like watching the Sharks in the playoffs any year other than the 2016 Stanley Cup Final year. That powerful team who was lethal on the power play and just dominated all regular season long has gone missing. I'm always amazed in Hockey how it feels like the way the game is played changes from regular season to playoffs.
don't teams give a few spots to people who don't technically qualify ? my hopes are upHe's not getting the cup anyway. Florida won't play him in a finals game.
What's the difference between these Panthers and the underachieving Sharks teams of yesterday??
You go out and win the next game, otherwise, in the words of the great Hawk Harrelson, this ballgame is ovah.I don't think I've seen a more psychologically deflating goal than what the Panthers just gave up. How do you recover from that.
The Leafs and losing in the first round.Name a better duo than Avs and losing in the second round

The Leafs have won a first round series since the last time the Avs won a second round series. The Leafs and losing in the first round.

Yup. When Nabokov, Damphousse, Marleau, and Cheechoo kicked Selanne/Kariya in the teeth...Wow, you are right. I had to look it up. It turns out the last playoffs the Leafs won in the first round the Sharks eliminated the Avs in the second round.
Probably, but if Edmonton can make it past Calgary, and Colorado can't contain McDavid (they aren't exactly a defensive stalwart)...The winner of Colorado/St. Louis is coming out of the West.
It can touch the crease, the goalie just can't touch it.It's not icing if the puck touches the crease, no? Right call...
Yeah.. just like the Sharks.. waitFlorida ain't winning shit until they play Thornton.
