It's kind of depressing, that pitching was the one thing we improved on a bit, and it hasn't been there for us so far this year. Still way too early on, but not the start I was expecting.

Yeah, I was at that game, too. Those people are also, of course, (currently dormant) Bulls fans, another reason to root for Golden State tomorrow night to break the 72-win record.

Not sure if i posted this. But my buddy and i ate going to start the sweat squad. Wear rain ponchos to the asu uofa game here in tempe behind the uofa bench if anyone is interested.
And the Diamondbacks are up 2-0 in the 1st. The Padres is garbage.
You should ask jeffirelandisawesome and CarpetCleaner if they want to join you since they're both diehard ASU fans.

Actually the game is tied. Frustrating start this year. Rather have troubles now than later though. Pollock going down really stinks.

The Diamondbacks with a big test coming up vs the Giants. A sweep will increase the hype of the team making the playoffs and may even be in 1st place by the time they're done playing against the Giants.

And in other news, the Diamondbacks will still have 145 more games after the series with the Giants. This series could make or break our future playoff chances.

Powers is a ****ing *****. The summer after ASU won the ACHA title he said what he was most proud of at ASU was "beating up on UofA". Come one bro. You just won a title, and THAT is what you're proud of? Beating a severely out matched team? If Lute Olson or Sean Miller said what they were most proud of was beating ASU I'd be pissed off.
Also pissed how little credit Powers gives Goltz in this article. I played under Goltz for a few years, and can honestly say he not only changed me as a hockey player but also made me a better man. I can still turn to Goltz whenever and have a conversation about hockey, school, or whatever. Any former player can. Here's an article about Goltz that tells how it was him that changed ASU hockey into what it is today, and Powers was just along for the ride and was handed the reigns after Goltz decided to focus on youth hockey.
