Man, what a game! Ovie is a monster. I honestly believed he wouldn't hit 50, let along this game! Congrats to Holtby! What a season we have had!

As for Hotlby starting tomorrow, I'm pretty sure we will seat the main players, so probably better to seat Hotlby too?

If LA wins this then as already mentioned the ducks have nothing to play for and will rest the big guns. I think Trotz will ask the team what they want. If the big guns want to play and try to get Holtby the record then go for it.

How the hell are we 5-2-3 in our last 10?! Seems like we are way worse than that. 13 points in last 10 games is still a 107 point pace for a season. Unreal.

Trotz says "unless the leadership group comes in" about Holtby starting tomorrow. Me thinks they just might do that. :naughty:

Classy announcer on the stadium mentioned Ovi's goal being the 50th of the season.

He didn't say Ovi is GOAT though. That's my only complain out of this game.

Having to play for 49th could force the team to continue with sound hockey. Stay focused and so on. Braden can handle it physically.

No mercy. Destroy BB and his boys.

So let me see. Holtby ties the record, Ovie crushes and gets 50, and we smoke maybe the second best team record wise on the road when they are playing for a 1 seed. On top of that we are 5-2-3 in our
Worst 10 game stretch all season matching a legandary Habs team as never losing back to back in regulation. But to half this board the team sucks and has no shot out of the first.

The caps need to win the cup for the sake off the fans losing their grinch heart and being able to enjoy hockey again.

"That's the team we thought we were going to see in Washington," Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk said. "They played a heck of a game."
