Quotes via Andrew Gross:

Cory Schneider on facing his old team:

“There are not many guys left who I played with, even the coaching staff is totally different,” Schneider said. “But the staff there, the trainers and medical is still there so it’s good to see them. There are very few familiar faces. But there’s still a lot of fond memories from there so it’s always a fun game to play.”

Taylor Hall on Saturday's 5-4 comeback OT win over Nashville:

“I thought at times, maybe even in the third period, we sat back and let them come to us,” Hall said. “We have to be a better team at playing with confidence and going at times and putting them on their heels like we did at the start of the (third) period.”

Andy Greene on the prior win:

“We don’t want to get into these shootouts. We want to do a better job of defending and not just sitting on our heels and defending but attacking in our defensive zone and then getting the puck out as quickly as possible. We’re spending a little too much time in there. It’s tough, giving up 40, 50 shots, we can’t be doing that.”

Feels good to be home!

Now maybe a nice, refreshing 60 minute victory is on the menu?

Okay, first time I've said it all year. This is actually a game I expect them to win.

Bennett will help this team. Good to see him back. Not sure how effective that line will be but the lines will likely get shuffled like they always do.

We are in desparate need of a winning streak if we want to keep up in the race for the Wild card slots, even if we are 2 games less than many teams. Just win please

That Wood-Fiddler-Lappin line is the sexiest 4th we've put out since the '12 finals.

Definitely.

Just wish Kalinin wasn't on the 3rd line. He's the worst forward at offense on the entire roster. Worse than Josefson, if you want the truth. But I guess since Josefson has gotten 90 million chances already.
Any word on the length of time Zacha may be out?

Hopefully not long.

Kalinin or Josefson as 3C is pretty gross and scary. Either of them as 3rd line anything is gross. Strange as it may be, I would actually pick Josefson to be my poison on that one.

I think sending JQ back is a good move, even though I would prefer him over Kalinin or Josefson. Long term, sending him back is the correct move.
