Benning and WD will move heaven and earth to drag this team kicking and screaming into playoffs in order to mask their incompetency and as means to save their own @sses.

Then we'll get bounced in round 1 within 5 games, Benning and co. declares season a shining beacon of hope/success, we get another lousy mid-low range pick, and the cycle starts over.

The best thing for the Canucks is for our prospects and young players to develop. In terms of win or lose, if we make the playoffs, I think that's great. If we don't, I hope we finish near the bottom and win the lottery. I prefer the Canucks making the playoffs than finishing at the bottom. I firmly believe that winning is good for player development. I still remember Don Cherry talking about how Nathan Horton had to learn to win and I think he's right. Losing gets to you. Take Taylor Hall as a recent example. The guy was a winner but he left the Oilers amidst speculation that he wasn't good in the locker room?

Not to bad...I would put Gaunce in Granlunds spot and put Granlund in Burrows spot, with burrows going to the 4th line. But pretty much everything else is good.
