The Panthers have done more damage bringing Tallon back in a prominent role. He didn't understand that Smith shot well below his career average last year and added a 50+ point guy in Marchessault to boot! What an idiot. Not to mention bringing in his pal, Davey Bolland.

Rowe found Marchessault and signed Yandle

Last year, Barkov, Huberdeau and Ekblad missed a combined 86 games. This year, 3(!) games missed between the three of them. If you don't think Florida makes the playoffs last year with similar health, you need some help.
Except it's quite the opposite. When they were healthy in the 2016-2017 season (which was a decent size number of games), they played just as atrocious as they did for the other parts of the season when they were unhealthy. Health had nothing to do with how they played. The fact that they went away from Tallon and had the total chaos in the FO eventually trickled down and lead to them playing like **** on the ice.
Just as an example, if Tallon would not have been put back in charge, the ownership would have probably have hired Dallas Eakins (just an example) to be the head coach, just to show how they know hockey better than the hockey people. Yeah, it's that kind of clown show that's waiting to run the team if Tallon is gone. Basically the story of the Panthers franchise for their entire existence, bad ownership.

No one comments on this but at what point will they get better? I can't recall a time when we were not hearing hype about their prospects.
Were you in a cave from the start of the 2014 season to the end of the 2016 season? Plus they had 96 points last season, and that's with them not playing nearly the type or style of hockey that's best for them IMO.

Well, without judging Gallant one way or the other, but at one point even Dan Bylsma was hailed as a great coach.
Well, Bylsma took over the Pens for half a season and won a cup, with Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Fleury, etc (that's when he gets all of his great coach accolades). Outside of that he hasn't shown anything but meh.
Gallant brought a Panthers team that couldn't find success for well over a decade, 25 points up the standings his first season with them, with an extremely young core (the same team the previous two seasons finished dead last and next to dead last). His second season he won the division, set all kinds of franchise records, with the same extremely young core. Then he goes to an expansion Vegas, and wins the division his first season, and makes it to the WCF, and has taken away home ice advantage.
So......I think your comparison is way off.

Dale Tallon get the hard traitement here, but give him a break, let me explain:

Its easy to blâme him now that Golden Knights are so good but, Tim Rowe is the Guy who fired Gallant...Gallant was Tallon Guy, when They nearly kick out Tallon, Rowe fire the Tallon man, and put himself headcoach...

Giving Marchessault was a mistake for Tallon...but he has to do it to Unload the R.Smith contract ...who was abismal back 1 year ago...Dale had to deal with Rowe decision and Interne Cap Hit...

He did it... R.Smith bounceback season is clearly a surprise...Dale get Dadonov and unload the contract or Smith...

Vegas succes Obviously part or Gallant, Matchessault and Smith From Panthers but its not all on Tallon fault... and Vegas succes is a lot because Gallant...who was Rowe mistake...and dont forget W.Karlsson 43 goal 1st Center thanks from Columbus...and that great goaltender Fleury
Bolded: You are clearly inept at evaluating players. Everyone who has a clue knew he was and still is a good hockey player. On top of that, he was one of the only players in the Panthers team that had developed great chemistry with Trocheck. It was a no-brainer to keep him. Except for Dale Tallon and some of his apologists who clearly have lost touch with reality.

naw. Tallon takes the full brunt of this. Pretty much every Panthers fan knew that Reilly Smith had some terrible puck luck last season and then had some pretty obvious issues with Rowe. Most fans wanted the team to be patient and give it another year. Instead Tallon paid Vegas to take him. It was an all time bad blunder that is going to be talked about for years to come. The Panthers gave away 2/3 of a 1st line for a 4th round pick.

Yeah there really is no justifying Tallon's horrendous handling of the Expansion.

Columbus too for that matter. Giving Vegas a 1st round pick and Wild Bill Karlsson so they would select David Clarksons contract is just hilarious.
