I am just glad he finally started using his size. Early on in his career i have seen 5'8 140 pound teenagers hit harder than him. IF he is available it is going to cost.

As said before. A part of me would rather move Lindell before his NMC kicks in and sign Oleksiak. Lindell's cap hit and NMC might scare teams off though.

Wouldn't be suprised if he's one of the "hottest" targets at the deadline if Dallas shops him...

6'7, 255lbs, cup-final experience, decent mobility, 28 years old and a $2.1m cap hit -- where if Dallas retains, basically anybody can fit him in. The ultimate "playoff depth".

Dallas is in the tricky spot where it might be beneficial to try to sign him after the expansion draft.

If hes left as a UFA might have Seattle avoid taking him, so Dallas chance their arm and sign him when FA starts.

I feel they like having a big and mobile defenseman to pair with Heiskanen, Miro seems comfortable with him so i think Dallas would want to keep that top 4 consistancy.

What are people thinking his next contract is going to be? Years and caplet?

I agree with other Stars fans who would rather try to re-sign him and shop Lindell. Oleksiak is far more impactful in all three zones.
