The Outer Limits.
Just wondering if Dallas fans feel they’re going to hold onto Oleksiak in their push to make the playoffs or as an upcoming UFA will he be made available?

If available, what sort of cost would a buying team be looking at?

Oleksiak was hilarious on one of my gm connected teams after a couple years of progression. His size at like 89 overall with 99 hitting and I think 94 speed.

I'm sure they could look to move him for the right price. It all depends on how they are looking standings wise when the TDL arrives.

2nd rounder + a lesser pick/prospect is my expectation. Anything lower and you're better off keeping him for a potential playoff berth and trying to re-sign.

He should get at least a 2nd+mid range prospect maybe. 6'7 dmen who can skate, produce, and defend are rare.

He'd be a great addition for a team like Toronto imo. Play style wise

How well can he skate? Like is he average thus making him good for his size. Below average or actually above average etc.

I wouldn't mind him on the Leafs. While he doesn't have any outstsanding qualities he does alright in the physicality and mobility departments and has a decent slapper. Also his competitiveness and experience would be beneficial.

Avs is ready to give something like Timmins and 3rd 2021
Oleksiak was pretty good against us in last years playoffs, but giving up Timmins and our 2nd highest pick in this years draft seems a bit rich for him.

He is the type of player that if traded should go for an overpayment. Every single team could use him and their would be a bidding war. Defenceman of his size rarely ever are good skaters.

Plus the other thing that GMs would be looking at is that if they traded for him they would have the inside track on signing him first before he hits UFA.

Would be great to see him on the Oilers.
2022 2nd + Kemp (prospect) + Turris (for cap)

This is the type of player the Flyers need on defense. I'd rather go get Oleksiak for a 2nd and a prospect instead of the other defensemen they say the Flyers have interest in (Ekholm, Ellis, or Goligoski).

Why is he not likely to be resigned by dallas? Heiskanen's next contract playing a part im assuming?
