I give it a B-
Without the Sekera injury we are back in the playoff race. Now a little more challenging.

IF:
power play improves. +2 games
Penalty kill can stop a pp at home +3 games
Goaltending improves and stops letting in the first shot +3 games
Coaching much better +3 games
Lucic bounces back somewhat and is not over used +1 game

That's 12 games won
I think that's easily doable.

Thats a whole lot of ifs for a team that is arguably worse on paper then the one that started last season.

PK upgrade - yes
Deeper Centre depth- yes
Woodcroftt gone - YES
Yahney in - yes
Maroon gone - Meh

Take roster changes out of the mix even, and just look at the happenstance stuff that will (hopefully) be different:

1) Klef not playing with one arm
2) McDavid not losing 15 lbs for 2 months
3) Leon not having a concussion
4) Talbot in a contract year
