That is my guess. In my opinion Bear should be in line-up, was best of three B's (Bear, Bouchard, Benning) in game against Cologne and has been more than fine on camp! But if Russell is activated, they need to send contract down. And is there any other than Bear or Yamamoto who are exempt from waivers? I don't think so, and Yamamoto has been locked to the second line for a while.

In about 10 game mark I think we will Yamamoto going to AHL. NHL grind is little bit too much for him this year. And Bouchard sended back to junior. I don't think neither NHL or junior are perfect places for him this year but there isn't any other option (Europe is, but it is highly unlikely). Bear is better overall at the moment. So Rieder will jump to Drais wing and Bear called up to play 3rd pair and 2nd PP.

Of course I hope that both Yama and Bouchard are ready to be really good NHL players, because that would be huge for this team. But I think this year will be touch too early for both of them.
