3-2 overtime loss. Oilers outplay the Jets for the majority of the game and lead going into the third thanks to the goals by McDavid and Draisaitl. However critical errors allow the Jets to tie the game. The Jets get a Powerplay in the last minute of the third period and end up scoring on the 4 on 3 in OT on a one timer by Laine.
In the post game thread, Mclellan, Eberle, and RNH are criticized and the Larsson-Hall trade is resurrected.

Lol, sadly, probably more correct than we would all like to admit

He is scratched tonight

What a surprise should have to guess again.
Is McLellan a jerk or totally idiot or both.

This ****ing ******** coach is wasting all the talent what Puljujärvi has to offer for Oilers.
Because Jesse won't get NHL games send him to AHL RIGHT NOW.

McLellan said this morning that he has a minor injury.

FYI TMAC stated that Pool Party is fighting an injury so that is why he is out again.

Seems like a very winnable game so I am expecting a frustrating loss. Likely a 1 goal game decided on a breakdown by the Oilers or a pp in OT for the jets. Expecting Hendricks and Letestu to be on the ice in the last 2 minutes and for RNH to cause at least 1 GA. McDavid and Draisaitl will pick up a point or two each.

Hendricks is out thankfully. I love his character but clearly he's done as an NHL player.

Amazing. Considering the ice-time he is a top 4 player in almost every 5on5 category except for scoring goals, and it would help the team also in the future (near and distant) if they developed him properly. He's leading the 1st assists / 60 min and has organised plenty of opportunities for his line mates, so why waste him like this.

Okay, that would explain it. Of course this could also be some kind of an explanation just to protect themselves, as there's been critisism towards the way they've dealt with Pulju.

With all due respect this post is about as ridiculous as it gets.

So the Oilers would publicly lie about Puljujarvis situation and ruin any goodwill with the player and the NHLPA? :shakehead

Please. :help:

Puiljujarvi should be in place of Pitlick. He was playing with a lot of jump in the last game even with the 2 penalties. I don't like the way they are ******* him around this season, either play him with the Oilers or send him to Bako. He needs to be playing somewhere.

Edit: So he's injured? I guess that explains his exclusion from the lineup.

We win. 7-3. Nuge has a hat trick. Eberle has 4 assists. Everyone stops *****ing and complaining until next game. :)

Placating the fanbase with dishonest propaganda is nothing new for the organization, and is more than likely being done to take pressure off both the player(gets a pass for poor play) and the coach(gets a pass for usage).

It's kind of like the phantom flu that was used to explain why RNH was terrible last year(which is a silly excuse in hindsight as he has continued the exceptionally poor play), he's probably more grateful that the organization has his back when it comes to public criticism than upset that they are making stuff up in the media.

Larsson's going to play <20 minutes again, and do absolute jack ****. Then some people here will continue to praise his "defensive prowess".

I think McDavid is going to put up 6 points tonight. We haven't had one of those games in a while.
