If we had a GM that could actually make a good trade I actually agree with dealing the 1st for immediate (non rental) help. We need to get the team going in the right direction ASAP and a pick could take years if ever to help pull their weight with the big club. The Bouchard pick was huge for our team as we finally got that potential offensive RHD.

IMO oilers should move this asap with out lottery protection to maximize trade value and make the push for playoffs .with klefbom and Sekreja on there way back things could really move in there direction
