I really wanted Yak to get a goal towards the end there. He is looking more and more frustrated as his goalless streak continues.

Hendricks is the glue, I'm telling you.

Nikitin played one of his best games.

Todd Nilson is already better than Eakins.

MacT's worst mistake was hiring Eakins.

MacT's best decision was Firing his mistake of a hire, Dallas Eakins.

Todd changed the PP finally, thank ****!

Good win but lets see if the team can keep it up. So far Eakins looks to be the culprit of all the regression in my opinion.

I don't understand. What does it mean when the Oilers have more of that... number thing... than the other team, again?

Would like to see Yak have a opportunity to on PP especially when it is 5 on 3. Should take Schultz out and put Yak instead when on 5 on 3.

I'm really like the additions. Fraser, Klinkhammer, and Roy in particular. Getting Pouliot back from the IR was huge, and Nikitin too since he had a good game. I love that Nelson made Nikitin a healthy scratch so he could work on his skating btw.

Draisaitl was sheltered so now those prime minutes can go to others. Maybe Perron was a locker room issue (I'll assume not, but maybe)

Nice to see Lander get a point as well but he was so-so.

But he's totally not worth that 1.8M. :sarcasm:

Islanders must've gotten zero sleep last night, depressed because of the cold weather, and underestimated the Oilers

That 3rd period was eerily familiar to all the leads we had the past, the opposition dominated that period, again

But all in all, great moral victory

Getting rid of Arcobello & Drai would have helped Eakins too.

And though they seem better, the 3rd period looked fairly similar to the run we had against the East with Eakins early on.

Still scrambly, still playing Klefbom half the game.
