First of all that was 9 years ago, and we've been close exactly twice since then. It's almost statistically impossible to be this bad for this long.

Didn't someone do the math? Like 18/30 to the ninth and its around a 1% chance that a team misses the playoffs every year... Not statistically impossible, 1/100.
