Absolutely not. Meanwhile the parking surcharges, that were supposed to recoup some of the COE investment in the arena are short heavily by now.

Rexall was a busy facility that had years where it was in use 200 nights per year driving front page polstar numbers.

Rogers place hasn't had even 100 event days yet in a year. Even before Covid they werent geting that unless your counting Wednesday Yoga sessions in Ford Hall

meanwhile several years in and the promised entertainment district isn't even done. With everything downscaled anyway. Predictable.

Kats did OK because he already sold the Edmonton Tower for handsome profit. Plus getting rent from COE that moved into that tower. Sweetheart deals if you can get it.
