Sneak peek of what I will see on the 25th. Going to Edmonton for the third match.

Should be a cake walk, but you never know. Sometimes I think finding a video for the wife and I on pornhub is a cake walk, and then it’s hours of my time. So you just never know.

Who’s with me??????

I am slightly worried about a trap game, but this team just keeps being prepared and staying on point throughout games.

I think this might be heavily one sided.
Only way it’s a trap game is if their goalie steals one

We out shoot them 48-25 guarantee. We shouldn’t lose, but anything is possible

I would guess Pickard starting?
They should. Give skinner the night off.

This is the schedule the next month or so. Got to start managing Skinner's starts because we have some important games coming up vs Toronto, Seattle, Vegas and LA.

I'd start Pickard tonight for sure and probably vs Montreal on Saturday as well.

It's Chicago and they're without their best player
True, but anything is possible...see Flames.

Also, I still have PTSD from the playoffs(playins) loss to CHI after we all predicted us to destroy the lowly Hawks.(Habs and Jets in later playoffs)

Honestly, this team is too prepared for every game. Even the one against the Hawks in Edmonton, they had a bit of stumbling start, then the game was over shortly after the Oilers scored a couple goals.

I suspect they'll be fine tonight.

It’s not arrogance it’s a fact. The blackhawks are among the worst team in the NHL and without Bedard…… the Oilers are 15-3 or 16-3 in their last handful of games. Anyone who doesn’t think the Oilers should win this and outplay the Hawks need to shake their head

WITH THAT SAID….. the Hawks could definitely get an upset. It’s still the NHL, anything can happen. I’m just saying I would be surprised if we lose this one.

We have the Hawks, Red Wings, Canadiens, Leafs and Kraken coming up. If we drop one or two of those games I just don’t see it being to the Hawks

This is what gives me a little extra hope that this game goes as it should. It shows Edmonton firstly that Chicago can win, and secondly a roster this bad isn't going to win many games, so they likely burned one of their lucky wins already.

Exactly the type of game they have had problems with in the past.

And for those who like to claim Edmonton doesn't get up for the poor opponents, in the last calendar year they are 19-4-3 so, it's not like losing things is still a common thing here.

Against bottom 5 teams in this same span, they are 13-3-1 with two of those losses vs Columbus last year, one afternooner vs. Montreal and the San Jose debacle earlier this year.

They may lose one of these Chicago games, but I doubt they lose both.

The Oilers are playing for the 2 points. The Hawks are playing for jobs.
Be ready and play for 60 minutes.

Like a lot of games this year, we are 100% in control of whether we win or lose.

If we at least match their work rate (which will be high) we are virtually guaranteed to win the game. If we don't we'll make it an adventure for ourselves. Really that simple.

For whatever reason we always seem to play like shit in Chicago, so a degree of focus is definitely required here.
