Happy we won and happy for both Lucic and Klefbom for finally ending their goalless droughts.

But the thing that still pisses me off is that the season is lost, we are focussing on developing our players and giving the young players a shot and yet Puju still gets the short end of the stick.

Time on ice:
Cammalleri: 14:30
Puljujärvi: 11:10

Even ignoring the fact that Puju doesn’t get put in a position to succeed on the power play, what in the actual **** is the reasoning behind playing Cammalleri more than Puju at this point in the season.

Leading up to the trade deadline, I could justify it, boost up Camo’s value and see if we can get some assets for him but now? I don’t get it.

I hate Todd and his staff.
How much of that is 5on5? Cam plays the PK for some reason.

Jeez you knew the Coyotes would tie it after they made it 3-2.

But McDavid overtime magic. It's not even fair for the other team.

On a little bit of a side note, I pray the Oilers win the lottery one last time and land Dahlin. Then we can keep Nuge and will have our number 1 dmen.

Oh and watching the main boards crash and burn will make my soul happy after the shit we had to endure this season.

Even though I am tired of Lucic, nice to see him score a goal.
Pretty solid game from Khaira and Strome.
Nice snipe from Puljujarvi. He really needs to work on trying to find himself more space in the offensive zone. RNH seems to look for him a bit more than McDavid and Draisaitl.
Happy to see RNH back, he makes so many small nice plays. Not a great play on the second goal against, but was a lot of culprits on that play.

This team is terrible on the boards though. I know Camalleri has scored some points recently but the guy can really not get to the puck on the boards with any type of efficiency or pace. Same with Lucic. Hes always just standing around. So far Aberg looks pretty decent.

This team has really poor passing. They dont support the puck very well. Too many blind passes around the boards. Too many east-west passes in the defensive zone. They really need some more speedy wingers that have decent compete level and decent hands. If they could get the puck off the boards in their defensive zone, I think the team would have a lot more success.

Aberg has been good for us from my viewings. Seems to be really good at creating opportunities with whoever he is out there with. I think it is subtle things that he does on the forecheck that make a big difference.. he has good instincts.

Love Khaira and Strome lately, and i think Drew and Kevin's assesment of Strone finding a role when Nuge was out is correct.. honestly hoping we keep him around.

Really likes Bear's poise on the PP. Something we have very little of on this team on the back end.

Hope he can keep developing and get a reliable ES game going. Don't want to rush the kid, but it sure would be nice to have a PP specialist next year, even if he's a 3rd pairing ES guy.

Behind enemy lines
It’s honestly mind boggling. I just don’t understand what the reasoning behind holding Puju back is. Puju is the one rookie who, IMO, should get more freedom than other young players on this team due to the fact that he’s a RH shooter and he’s actually defensively responsible. A player like him should be put in a position to score (like Laine) and continue to be developed as a pure goal scorer, especially on a team with playmakers like Drai, Nuge and Mcdavid.

But it looks like Todd and his genius staff think otherwise. I hope he gets canned at the end of year.

Todd's setting it up for next year where he gives JP primo minutes and he explodes and Todd says "I knew he could do it, he just had to put in the work"
