Big win! Not a great 3rd period, but when you consider it was the final game of an 11 day 6 game road trip including 5 games in the final 8 days... I think you can give the team a bit of a pass for being fatigued in the 3rd.

Talbot was excellent.

Nuge was pretty great too I thought. On the Lucic goal his back check and puck steal was vintage Nugent-Hopkins. Great to see.

Team was totally out of fuel the second half of the game, but good teams find ways to win, and despite all the pressure, they did not give up any odd man rushes or point blank chances.
