What I think technically happens is that the OHL finalist becomes the "host team." Only London would get to keep all the host team time slots and all that.

But yes, the OHL finalist would go if London does win.

So just for an example, even if a team like say, Owen Sound, gets beat out in the semis ( by London) won't get a chance to go to the Memorial Cup, even though they are probably a better team than whoever comes out of the Eastern Conference.
