Whew, sure glad they don't have to try to schedule around the Rangers. ;)

Hopefully I can catch a game or two!

For 'OHL' Gold Cup, many drafted players are omitted and many undrafted players are added. Can somebody explain the process please?

Independent body scouts the players all year and makes assessments. Not perfect but much better then the previous system. Most OHL guys love the new set up.

Thats a very impressive list of players from the draft. A+ for the Petes draft this year.

My only wish is that they took a more skilled forward with their 2nd rounder. I like the Webbs just need more skill in the Petes lineup. Gerhart would have been ideal.

Keep this alive. I'm interested. I wonder if he will get an invite to this summers Ivan hlinka tournament?

I would doubt it as Canada usually takes older kids to this tournament. Ekblad did not make the team last year after a pretty good OHL season. Mcdavid might have a chance as a younger guy 97 as it will be mostly 96s.

That's asking too much. They'll have all their top 96's at their disposal. Throw in the fact Ekblad was cut from last years team, and McDavid wasn't invited. Taking an ES player who hasn't played a Major Junior game is asking too much.

Many of the picks are a joke. Coaches were given too much of a say and used it for their own agendas.

glad christian dedonato made it, still cant believe he was available in the 12th round, hes got some serious offensive talent and keeps getting stronger since his season ended. Next year i bet he plays tier II and does well.
