Just to clear things up, I see something I like and want to move up :) I don't think the player will last the next 3 picks.

Just call you George Jefferson MacIsaac....Movin on up! To the Eastside....

Chicago can change the pick if no one says they would've taken his guy.

The San Jose Sharks continue their tradition of going out east to grab kids. Sharks select the highest recruited Hockey east high school. The leading prep scoring defenseman. He's also one of the youngest pups in the draft.

D Keith Yandle.

He's actually older, Sharkie. He was eligible last year, but didn't opt in.

Washington Capitals have traded for the 85th pick this year and Ottawa's third round pick in 2006 in exchange for Brooks Laich. I will be at work until about 6-7pm tonight so I wanted to post it so Crosby=Gretzky can confirm it.

Mac isn't here. Soo.. New Jersey adds a very smart defensive prospect who can skate well, just doesn't have the size and is going to a Devils hotbed in North Dakota.

New Jersey selects D Taylor Chourney.
Sorry about the pick, my computer was down for a bit but I love the pick. Not my first pick in defensmen but 2nd or 3rd on my list.

To Caroline Hurricanes
Patrik Stefan and Jim Slater

To Atlanta Thrashers
Erik Cole and #70 overall

Atlanta agree to this deal.

Some may feel I am overpaying a bit, but Erik Cole is exactly what the Thrashers need. A big, physical player that will play on the top two lines. With Kovalchuk, Heatley, Savard, Cole and Kozlov, all we need is a 2nd line center and our top six is great.
