I'd like plan Bs, in case someone has something come up during their scheduled day. Something like, If it isn't done 5 mins before puck drop on someone's schedule, its open season.

I'd say earlier than 5m. Maybe like 6 hours prior to. Theres nothing saying you cant post a thread and update when you can.

6 hours is a bit much. Someone could plan to get home before the game starts and post their GDT after work. I also think there should be a punishment for those who repeatedly miss their scheduled days

No, you can post a template beforehand. Having it posted one hour beforehand is too late. Unless of course we start making pre-game threads on a regular basis which will need another sign up sheet haha.

Strike 1 they get mocked in the GDT

Strike 2 they lose their next GDT

Strike 3 they are done for the season

Anybody can PM me or another mod if they foresee any issues. I can delete or edit threads if necessary. We can find ways to make it work

Sorry I didn't make my thoughts exactly clear earlier. Being on Atlantic time I have three hours more than you guys when I come home and start thinking about the game. In addition we have posters in Sweden which is even earlier then my time who may want to discuss. We need a place to post about the current game at hand. Therefore we either need a pregame thread created or an early GDT posted.

Time zone difference is an important factor, but we should still give people opportunity. We can post simple Pre game threads, maybe nothing more than a poll in order to allow people to talk about the game before the real GDT, but I don't see the point in assuming a problem before it actually being a problem

I'll do Edmonton vs Calgary March 22nd.

Also, can I sign up to do some of the GDT's for Team Canada games for the Olympics?
