FCDB? Not a clue what it isI'll be honest, I had to Google it. Meh.
Rented one of those a few years ago in FL. Great ride.Arrived in Vegas last night with a friend for a quick trip to Valley of Fire State Park.
Went to pick up my rental car with Hertz. Hertz has grab and go where you pick any car in the aisle, which is nice and sometimes leads to nice surprises.
Last night was of those, with a Camaro Convertible waiting for me! Not bad for $30/day!

We lucked out last month when we went to FL for a few days. We rented a "coupe or similar" because it was so cheap. I hate driving actual cars now because I've driven an SUV and a Wrangler for so long, that it just feels weird, but the cost was too good to pass up.
We get in late after our nightmare airport experience in West Palm, and had a GMC Acadia waiting for us. After visiting family, it made our drive down to Key West so much better.
Not sure how a GMC Acadia fits into "Coupe or similar" but I'll take it!
I guess that makes sense. Still, glad we got the larger one. I'm used to driving a Grand Cherokee. The Acadia is the full size one with the third row. The next one down is the GMC Terrain, and that would be the smaller more coupe like SUV. My mother in law has an Acadia, and I have the Terrain. Very similar in size just no third row in mine and better gas mileage.
I'm in President's Circle with Hertz, and I've never gotten a car that nice. I get the occasional Challenger or Charger, but never a convertible.Arrived in Vegas last night with a friend for a quick trip to Valley of Fire State Park.

I HATE HATE HATE the Terrain, for one reason. That stupid button/toggle transmission. Hate it.The Acadia is the full size one with the third row. It was an '18 or '19. This is the transmission interface I was talking about:What year do you have/did you have? I haven't towed anything yet and likely never will, so the "manual" transmission thing you're talking about isn't an issue for me. I leave it in drive and it's fine.

Kudos to you for feeding those guys.
Very kind of you.
Had a choice between that and a mustang (both convertibles) for 18 days in Hawaii last month, couldn't fit our bags in the Camaro trunk so we took the Mustang, about as hohum a car as I've ever driven.Arrived in Vegas last night with a friend for a quick trip to Valley of Fire State Park.

They've gone way down hill again.Had a choice between that and a mustang (both convertibles) for 18 days in Hawaii last month, couldn't fit our bags in the Camaro trunk so we took the Mustang, about as hohum a car as I've ever driven.
They removed the stick altogether. You just push the buttons to get into any gear even on full auto. The best setup is, IMHO, in VW GTI - you have paddle shifters on the steering wheel and you just push those without moving the stick to get into manual. Then just hold down the down shift paddle to get back into auto mode. Dual clutch is also a revelation. No clue what that is about. lol
I have a 17 and it does not have that. I know they moved on to this weird gas saving engine that feels like it's about to stall when you're not moving, but that's not my car.
This is what mine looks like:
You shift it to "M" (manual) and then use the plus minus on the shifter to up and down shift.
What a ****ty spring so far.
Every time it feels like we’re out of the woods, it’s more of the same: rain and mid 40s
I feel like the month of March has essentially said “f*** you, now all the months are me.”.We figured we'd be done with using the pellet stove by now, but we've had to use it nearly every day. By the time we're finally done, I'll be lucky if I have 10 bags left, and we started with over 3 tons.
I got home from work yesterday and the wife had ours on as well. I didn't go through as much this year in pellets. I got two tons before last winter and still have probably 30 bags left. Use it pretty much daily in the winter but shut it off at night as it only really heats the living room and upstairs not down the hall into the bedrooms. We figured we'd be done with using the pellet stove by now, but we've had to use it nearly every day.
