haven`t been to the movies since The Wedding Crashers, I have turned into a bitter old man, people yakking during the movie, too expensive, the sound in the theatre is too loud etc....

Do I need to watch the previous Godzilla to get into the series? I watched the latest King Kong movie but not Godzilla because I heard it wasn’t great and Godzilla isn’t in it much.

Shazam was ok, I enjoyed it but it was slow in some parts. There was a nice surprise that left me wanting more.

Yeah watch Godzilla you’ll like it. It’s not manditory tho

Yes you buy reserved seats, doesn’t give you the right to get there 2 minutes after the movie starts making me move.

Idiotic parents taking their young kids to see rated R movies. It’s rampant lately. Us had it last night and the kid was maybe 7 was begging his stupid mother to leave and she wouldn’t. Should be arrested for child abuse. Not the theatres fault you can’t afford/find a baby sitter

Doing a quick fly by text. Wait until the whole movie is over, you’re not that important.

People that constantly eat. Stop rummaging through your box with the crinkly cellophane. Pour them into your hand.

What would possess a person to claim that? He needs to be in jail for the rest of his life. Think what he put that poor kid's family through. How awful.

I believe he is yet another example of our mental health system being broken. Numerous diagnoses, apparently not monitored well enough at all.

Funny this convo has turned toward the movies. @Kovi is at the movies as we speak with my mom while I'm in TX. And she's not really a movie person. Good on her for going though.

I did fine. We missed you. Seats that recline and lots of space makes a huge difference, plus peppermint oil. (I get claustrophobic)
So anyway...we go to see Best of Enemies. One lady near the front starts yelling at another lady that her cell phone is shining in her face. They start yelling back and forth....a staff member comes to ask them to leave. Drinks are thrown.... They break into a fist fight in the tunnel and cops came. EMTs treated one of them for a punch to the face.

I will hand it to Harkins staff...there was a manager at the entrance as we exited telling everyone that if they had questions or concerns to please step aside and talk to her and offering apologies.
It wasnt a big deal and we all agreed that during a movie about getting along, that those two ladies could have done a better job of it.

The movie itself was just "ok".
GM's mom bought me mojitos.

If you're talking about the Godzilla that came out like 4-5 years ago, it was phenomenal IMO.

They rebooted the franchise, so it's an origin story, but I really enjoyed it. Godzilla indeed isn't in it a ton, but the payoff is there when he shows up.

I'd definitely watch it.
