Well got the CPAP.
Tonight will be night 1.

Blue Cross was willing to pay for ResMed Airsense. 10

AirSense 10 CPAP | ResMed

And a Philips Respironics DreaWear under the nose mask.
To start. I may be too claustrophobic for full face.

Philips - DreamWear Under the nose nasal mask

They wouldn’t pay for a clean machine. But the therapist said if I have succes over the next month I’ll have this licked and should invest in the clean machine.

Seems like there are some very knowledgeable people there.

I bought a SoClean and like it, but on that board they will tell you it's a waste of money. :dunno:

I’ve read it makes the mask and hose stink. Have you experienced that?
There is a different smell, but I think part of the problem is I don't take the mask out of the machine until I'm ready to go to bed. I'm going to try taking it out when I get home and let it air out. Maybe rinsing the nasal cushion might help too.

I just hated cleaning the hose, that's the main reason I got it.

Please let me know how it works out for you?

Thx

Well if I read my machine right I went from my test score of 47 to only 3.4 last night.

Very odd trying to get comfortable. But once I did I only had to get up once. That hasn’t happened in years.

The Bride said first time she can remember that I didnt wake her up snoring. Although I did ‘whistle ‘ a little.

I feel odd this morning. Not tired. Just more clear headed.
Who knows maybe this is what ‘normal’ is and I just had been missing it?
:D

That is great news!!

And yes, going from 47 to 3 would make a huge difference. The good thing about cpap is that often people see immediate results. :)

I got a cpap last summer. Unbelievable how much better I felt.

I’m so happy for you because seriously it’s a life changing feeling.

Help me make up my mind:

If there is band coming to town who made many albums, but you only love (and I mean LOVE) one of those albums, do you go see them in concert?

At the risk of spoiling some of your excitement/surprise, but with the possibility of saving some of your money, I'd look up the set-list from recent shows and see if it's something you'd be interested in attending.

That’s enough to get me hyped. I just bought Fire and Blood a couple weeks ago but I’ve only read the first chapter so far, I have to get on that.

I refuse to buy anything he writes unless it's the last two books to the series. I also think it's complete bullshit that he's writing other stuff instead of finishing the series everyone is dying for. It's taken way too long as it is.

I said the same thing until this came out but couldn’t help it. The first chapter was better then I expected, more like a maester telling a story than a text book.

I saw an interview where he said he’s having a hard time finishing Winds and this was a lot easier to write. It definitely sucks, but it was good to be back in that world again.

You will be amazed with what a good nights sleep feels like. In two weeks you will feel better than you ever have
