I think it would be more like Stone + Pageau/Dzingel + 1st.

And imo ceci + Methot are worth more than Shattenkirk, simply because Ceci projects to be a #3 (at best) PMD, very similar to Shattenkirk, and Methot is a reliable shutdown D who when on his game is also a #3 (combining a great season 12-13 when he was practically a #2 with this season, where he was more of a #4).

It's tough to say what we would offer for him because we wouldn't be a contending team, so offering assets for a one year contract makes no sense. It's why teams like Nashville and Edmonton aren't chasing Spezza that much - he's almost a rental.

Spezza is pretty much the best piece you will ever acquire, to a team that is just a step away that should be invaluable.
